I was in Barcelona in 1999; ordinarily I don’t go back to the same place that I have already been. This city has stayed on my bucket list because I didn’t get to see/enjoy all of it. I decided I would try to get out of the heat of Phoenix. It will be in the low 80’s when I am there, but that sure beats 105 – 115.
I was going to go for two months, but tempered my ambitions and elected one month. I have no big plans except to enjoy the city, the sights and the food. My search had the following criteria: Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, elevator, one bedroom/one bath and located on La Rambla (Las Ramblas). This apartment is on a side street off of La Rambla and you can stand on the balcony, look left and see the action.
It is a 15 minute walk to the beach.
