SISTER HAS ARRIVED
My sister, Claudia, arrived yesterday afternoon and after getting her gear stashed in one of the bedrooms we hit the metro and went to southern end of Las Ramblas (waterfront and marina area).

Is this a big ferry or is it big? Balearia is a service that has numerous ferries that travel the coast of Spain. This one holds about 1,200 passengers/105 vehicles and comes complete with cabins, restaurants and lounges. If interested, Google them and read their website.

Las Ramblas south at night.

Another human statue.

On the way back, there was this huge cockroach in the metro station. I know his progenies came from Texas --

We headed out Tuesday morning around 10:00a to walk up to the Market Boqueria for breakfast. It was great being serenaded at our table.

Here is the unique candy again. It is made out of marzipan which I love. Featured in front: McDonald’s, KFC and hot dogs. I didn’t buy – it is 75€/kg; that is pricey candy.

After breakfast, I went back to the apartment and Claudia headed out to the Picasso Museum. When she got there the line was very, very long so she went to the Museum of World Cultures.
Bouquet at one of the many, many flower stalls.

Either someone has a bad case of diarrhea or he is delivering to a hotel.

Dave, this is for you – more wind.
