I know there is a Hard Rock Café in Mustafakemalpaşa, Turkey – they are in every city in the world.

This funky giant prawn/lobster statue was originally part of the decor at the Gambrinus seafood restaurant. The 10m long fiberglass sculpture was designed and built by Spanish artist Javier Mariscal. When the Gambrinus restaurant closed the statue was bought by Barcelona city council, restored and now takes pride of place on Passeig Colom near the Port Vell.

I won’t mention the bird do-do in this plaza.

Self-contained kiosk – you can go from the underground metro to the sidewalks at the marina just by pulling the drawstrings and hauling your kiosk of products to the next site.

There is an abundance of entertainment in the city. You can find it down in a metro station. These two were very accomplished.

At some point they must have played a lullaby because across the room, this guy was out like a light.

Located on La Rambla in Barcelona, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, or more simply “the Liceu”, is one of the world’s leading opera houses. Since it was opened in 1847 it has staged some of the finest international productions featuring some of the world’s most renowned singers and conductors. Its spectacular Auditorium and other spaces have made it one of Barcelona’s landmarks.

I didn’t pay to take the tour so this photo is off the Internet; the Gran Teatre del Liceu holds almost 2,300 seats on six floors.
